Trilogy STEM Academy was founded by mother-daughter team Simone Aeshliman and Kate Clemens. With over 31 years of combined experience teaching mathematics, physics, and engineering at the college level, this dynamic duo built the foundation for Trilogy from a shared passion for STEM learning coupled with an unwavering commitment to the academic success of every student.
Their teaching philosophy is rooted in continuous learning, shared knowledge, and collaboration to assist students on their educational journeys from the high school experience through college and beyond. The result a transformative, educational experience marked by perseverance, teamwork, and personal growth.
Kate Clemens | Academy Director
Ms. Kate has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from The University of Wisconsin, Platteville. She spent 5 years in the industry as a structural engineer before pursuing a teaching career at several community colleges, where she taught Engineering and Physics classes. Ms. Kate serves as the Academy Director for Trilogy STEM Academy and will teach Engineering & Science classes.
Simone Aeshliman | Head of Academics
Mrs. Aeshliman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Hamline University and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Education from St. Cloud State University. She has been teaching mathematics in private and public college settings for 25 years. She was one of the co-founders of the Engineering program at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. Mrs. Aeshliman serves as the Head of Academics for Trilogy STEM Academy and will teach Mathematics classes.

Mr. Rysavy | English and Spanish
Mr. Rysavy has a double major in Literature and Spanish which he acquired from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Winona. Inspired by his own influential teachers, he became interested in the profession of teaching at a young age. To pursue this goal, he continued his education and received a Master of Arts in Teaching, earning licensure in both English/Language Arts and Spanish. Mr. Rysavy will teach both English and Spanish classes at Trilogy STEM Academy.
Ms. Langston | Middle School Electives, English
Ms. Langston has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Arts from Brigham Young University. Ms. Langston was the 4th-5th grade teacher at Camp Trilogy this summer and is excited to be teaching middle school this year. She teaches STEM, Art, English and Fitness/Health.
Mr. Mabie | Social Studies
Mr. Mabie completed his education at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where he earned a degree in Broadfield Social Studies Secondary Education with an emphasis in teaching geography and history. In pursuit of his passion for education, Mr. Mabie has engaged in various experiences, including traveling, substitute teaching across all grade levels, and serving as an exploratory Spanish/World Cultures teacher. Mr. Mabie joins the faculty at Trilogy STEM Academy teaching both Middle and High School Social Studies courses.
